That Awkward Moment...

...when you have a crush on a character in a book and then switching back to reality, remembering that he's not real.

Yeah.

That's never happened to me...

Let's face it people,

I need a life!

OR

just a perfect guy like in that book I read.

Is that too much to ask for?

I guess for now I'll be content with books and oreos.

But that might eventually get old...

Who am I kidding?!

Oreos will always be there for me.

Well, You Know...

...when you're about to crack a mean joke to your friend- or sibling- or pet hamster (who knows), MAYBE,

you should stop and think to yourself, "Hmm.. maybe I should actually say something encouraging instead."

The point of this is that people shouldn't be discouraging to others. Either as a joke or if you're seriously being mean.

Of course everyone, including myself, makes fun of our friends as a joke.

But there is such a thing as moderation.

When you continue to put people down, it can hurt them, even if it was a joke.

Why is it that we think making fun of people is funny?

Why don't we instead build each other up? Or even just ask them how their day was?

Is it that hard?

Nope.

Anyways,

Try encouraging someone.

Because everyone is going through something in their lives whether you see it or not.

So be kind,

and encourage.

Well Well Well

First of all, if you read my blog continually, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while and thank you for reading.

SO

This post was going to be about my depressing day,

BUT

it actually got better.

I was all ready, with my hoodie on, my ice cream eaten, and my sad music playing.

But I ended up texting my friend, and we were being funny, so I was laughing a lot.

And then, my brother made me play basketball with him, and it turned into some good bonding time.

Plus, I learned how not to shoot from my chest!

So technically I'm a pro.

But, all joking aside,

We all have to realize that everybody has bad days.

Nobody's perfect.

Just because you got a bad grade on one test (totally unrelated to me) or you got frustrated with yourself for not doing your best,

JUST CHILL.

Cause the sky isn't falling.

...unless your chicken little.

And tomorrow, don't just hope for a better day, but

MAKE it a better day.

Now go get 'em tiger.

Yeah..

...Things might be tough now,

but keep trying and trying harder to conquer your troubles everyday.

It'll get easier when you really put the effort into it.

And DON'T slack off!

Trust me, it's a stupid idea.

SO

push yourself to do your best,

pray to God to give you strength,

and trudge on, soldiers.

I believe in you.

BECAUSE...

GOD believes in you.

and He loves you.

 Don't be afraid, and

KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

You Might Not Care But..

If you have ever read either of my previous beauty salon posts,

this has to do with those.

Just read 'em first or else you'll be confused.

I'm getting my eyebrows done today unfortunately.

Unfortunately because I have sensitive eyebrows, okay?

Anyways, I'm gonna dress up really nice, wash my hair,

you know,

look presentable and all.

And they WILL offer me a refreshment.

Cause I am trying to prove a point here.

And my point is that fancy salons don't like people with bushy eyebrows coming in and looking like hobos!

So judgmental.

One Step At a Time

When you're trying to tackle a bunch of things at once and trying to get better at all of them at the same time,

it's probably a good idea to focus on one thing at a time and put your best effort into that,

otherwise,

when you try to fix everything at the same time, you're doing each thing half-heartedly.

So.

Relax,

and focus on one thing,

and then move on and start working on the next obstacle.

Come on, you got this.

Smiles

You'd think that you would know when someone smiles by their mouth,

But that's not really true.

At least not for a real smile.

I was getting a manicure today, treating myself after a nap.

The lady doing my nails had a mask on over her mouth.

She was looking over my hands when she started, and I said something like,

"Yeahh...my hands are dry," Because I was a little embarrassed.

Anyways, she looks up and smiles,

BUT

I didn't see her actual mouth.

I could tell she smiled though by the way she looked at me.

By her eyes.

I thought that was so cool.
